Atmosphere Condenser

Atmosphere condenser is a heat exchanger that converts steam into liquid at atmospheric pressure. Its work process is generally the use of cooling medium (such as cooling water) and steam heat exchange, so that the steam gives off heat and condensation into liquid. Such as shell and tube atmospheric condenser, steam flows in the shell side, cooling water flows through the tube, through the wall of the tube to achieve heat transfer, so that the steam condensation.

Structural characteristics

Shell and tube structure: the common shell and tube atmosphere condenser consists of shell, tube plate, cooling tubes, folding plate and so on. The shell is usually cylindrical, with multiple cooling tubes installed inside, the tube plate is used to fix the ends of the cooling tubes, and the refractory plate guides the flow path of the steam or cooling medium to improve the heat exchange efficiency.

Material selection: According to different use environment and requirements, the material of atmospheric condenser is different. Generally used carbon steel, stainless steel, industrial grade alloy and other materials. Carbon steel cost is low, applicable to general working conditions; stainless steel has good corrosion resistance, can be used for corrosive media occasions; industrial grade alloy has higher strength and temperature resistance and other properties, suitable for special requirements of the environment.

Application Areas

Food Processing Industry: Used for steam condensation and heat recovery in food processing, such as in canning production, condensation of steam after cooking, heat recovery for preheating raw materials or other processes to improve energy efficiency.

Chemical industry: In chemical production, it can be used for the condensation of steam generated during various chemical reactions and the recovery of solvents. For example, in the petroleum refining process, the condensation of steam at the top of the distillation tower to get gasoline, diesel and other products.

Power industry: used in thermal power plants for the condensation of steam discharged from the turbine, so that the steam is turned back into water, recycling, and improve the efficiency of power generation.

Marine industry: Marine atmospheric condenser is used to condense the steam produced by the ship's power unit, as well as cooling the hydrophobic water of various heat exchangers to ensure the normal operation of the ship's power system.
