Power Plant Remote Radiator / Dry Cooler
Power plant remote radiator / dry cooler is an air‑cooled heat rejection equipment for reciprocating gas engine gensets, combined‑cycle plant, CHP & co‑generation facilities. It dissipates large amount of waste heat to atmosphere via forced air convection, replaces traditional cooling towers, cuts water usage for power stations. Suitable for natural gas, biogas, landfill gas, syngas power plant projects.
HT High‑Temperature Circuit: Engine jacket water cooling, removes heat from cylinder block and head. Maintain stable engine operating temperature under base‑load.
LT Low‑Temperature Circuit: Charge air cooler, lube oil cooler, gas pre‑cooler and auxiliary system cooling. Stabilize intake temperature, protect engine efficiency and reduce emissions.
Some power‑plant radiators adopt fully separated dual‑circuit design; HT and LT loops work independently without thermal cross‑talk.
Structure options: V‑type, horizontal, vertical cabinet type; remote outdoor installation, free up indoor powerhouse space.
Heat coil: copper tube‑aluminum fin as standard; SS304 / SS316 fin, cupro‑nickel tube optional for coastal, saline, heavy‑dust industrial power plant sites. Anti‑dust fin pitch for biogas plant dirty ambient.
Multiple EC variable‑speed axial fans, IP54/IP65 motor; explosion‑proof motor available for hazardous area power stations. Fan group staged speed control to hold set‑point temperature across variable load and ambient temperature.
Sufficient thermal safety margin, designed for high ambient temperature and high altitude site derating.
Closed glycol‑water circulating loop for freeze protection. Adiabatic cooling pad optional for hot climate to improve summer heat dissipation capacity.
Full accessories: lifting lugs, vibration dampers, flanges, vent & drain connections, support steel frame for site erection.
24/7 continuous running capability to match power‑plant long‑time base‑load operation.
