The MAN B&W Engine Cooler is used to cool engine air before it enters the combustion chambers of the engine after it has been through a turbocharger. Its purpose is to reduce the temperature of the combustion air to a level that will maximize power output, fuel efficiency, and subsequently exhaust emissions.
Both development projects for entirely new coolers and replacement products for engines with older cooler designs are provided with coolers.
Each project's cooler is specifically tailored to the operational requirements of each engine model. The precise air and cooling medium inlet conditions must be considered for a Charge Air Cooler project to be successful.
VRCOOLER has a dedicated team with extensive experience in the on-site delivery of replacement coolers for all engines currently on the market with very short lead times to meet the need to quickly replace outdated coolers for the Aftermarket.
