CACW Air Cooler

CACW air coolers are typically equipped with finned tubes, with water flowing inside the tubes while the hot air requiring cooling comes into contact with the fins on the outside. Through heat conduction and convection, the heat from the hot air is transferred to the fins and the water inside the tubes, thereby achieving cooling of the hot air and effectively dissipating heat.

CACW air coolers feature a closed-loop design, which prevents dust particles and liquids from entering the main cooling circuit, thereby extending the service life of cooling components and reducing equipment downtime.

CACW air coolers are primarily used for cooling the windings of generators and large electric motors, and can also be used for equipment such as brake resistors to limit the transfer of energy absorbed by the brake resistors to the surrounding environment, thereby avoiding adverse thermal effects on other equipment.

The CACW air cooler is a compact cooling solution for large motors; it can utilize any available water source, including river water or seawater (though some filtration or pretreatment may be required), or existing closed-loop cooling water on-site; it provides dust and water protection up to IP6 rating; and it can be configured with cooling redundancy to ensure high availability of the cooled equipment.
