Our exhaust gas heat exchanger is designed to recover heat from combustion engine exhaust gas in combined heat and power plants.
It is a small heat exchanger composed of high-alloyed stainless steel that can withstand temperatures of up to 550 degrees Celsius. Because of its tiny and modular construction, it is incredibly adaptable and simple to service.
Heat is transferred from the exhaust gas to a liquid (water or water-glycol solutions) via the heat exchanger. When heated, this liquid can be used in central heating systems, to pre-heat air in furnaces and turbine combustion chambers, to dry coal, pulp, wood, and other materials, and to generate electricity via the Rankine process.
