Project Background: The main engines and engines of a large commercial vessel need to be maintained at the proper operating temperature during operation. Shell and tube heat exchangers are used to cool the oil lubrication system of the engine to ensure that the engine maintains a stable temperature during high load operation, improving engine performance and life.

Design temperature: Maximum operating temperature of the oil lubrication system is 80°C.
Shell and tube material: stainless steel (seawater corrosion resistance)
Cooling medium: seawater
System efficiency: 95 per cent
