Custom Replacement of Internal Air Coolers for Nuclear Power Plant Cooling Equipment
The residual heat generated during nuclear power plant operation raises the temperature of the thermal medium inside the air cooler. This thermal medium enters the heat exchange tubes through the heat source inlet header pipe. External cold air automatically enters through the cold air inlet at the base of the chimney structure, where it undergoes heat exchange with the thermal medium within the heat exchange tubes. The cooled thermal medium exits through the heat source outlet header, while the heated air flows upward in an organized manner through vertical ducts and is discharged from the hot air outlet at the top of the chimney structure, thereby achieving heat transfer and dissipation.
