EGR Cooler

The exhaust gas recirculation cooler (EGR cooler) is the most recent advancement in emission reduction technology.
It supplements existing exhaust gas recirculation with the goal of reducing NOx emissions (within the engine) and thus complies with emission directives such as IMO, TIER, EURO, and so on.

In comparison to a conventional EGR system, recirculating the cooled exhaust gas in the combustion chamber reduces the combustion temperature and effectively reduces the formation of NOx emissions. There are no operating materials required, and the design can fully meet customer specifications.

Extreme temperatures (up to 700 degrees Celsius), sulphurous exhaust gas, and contamination by soot particles are all requirements for the exhaust gas recirculation cooler.

The cooler is available in two designs:
Low-pressure exhaust gas removal after the turbocharger
High-pressure: exhaust gas removal prior to the turbocharger
