What is a Tube and Plate Construction Generator Cooler?
A generator cooler with tube and plate structure is a heat exchange device used to cool the heat generated during the operation of a generator. Its main structure consists of a tube sheet, heat exchanger tubes, a housing and a flow system for the cooling medium (e.g. water or oil). The cooler is cooled by fixing the heat exchanger tubes through the tube plate, and the two fluids (usually the coolant and the internal hot air flow of the generator) exchange heat inside and outside the heat exchanger tubes.
Tube Plates: Usually metal plates, fixed at both ends of the cooler, used to support and fix the cooling tubes.
Cooling tube: Through the tube plate, the cooling medium (such as water or air) flows through the tube to take away the heat generated by the generator.
Working principle: the cooling medium flows in the cooling tube, absorbs the heat from the generator and then discharges it to realize the cooling effect.

Advantages:
High-efficiency cooling: The cooling tube provides a large heat exchange area to enhance the cooling efficiency.
Stable structure: Tube plate design enhances overall strength and stability.
Easy maintenance: modular design facilitates disassembly and maintenance.
Application: Widely used in large-scale generator sets, such as thermal, hydro and nuclear power plants.
Tube and plate structure generator cooler can efficiently cool the generator through the combination of tube plate and cooling tubes, which has the advantages of solid structure, easy maintenance, etc. It is suitable for many kinds of generator sets.
