The Air Compressor Cooler Produces Scale, How To Clean It?
The air compressor cooler produces scale, how to clean it?
The air compressor cooler will produce scale after a long time. Does it need to be cleaned in time?
The answer is yes.
Because the scale will affect the normal heat transfer of the air compressor cooler, the air compressor inlet and exhaust temperature will rise, and the air cannot be cooled to the predetermined temperature, which will directly affect the production cost and even affect the safe operation.
Therefore, according to the use of the air compressor, it is very necessary to clean the cooler regularly.

There are generally two methods of cleaning scale, physical removal and chemical removal.
Physical removal method:
The physical method is to use a wire brush or a wire cloth to drag back and forth in the pipe to remove the scale in the pipe.
Chemical removal method:
The chemical method is to dissolve the scale with dilute hydrochloric acid according to the characteristics that the scale is generally an alkaline substance. But the acid content should not be too high, otherwise it will corrode the metal.
The specific cleaning method is: first make dilute hydrochloric acid solution, add 5-10KG hydrochloric acid into 100KG water, place the dilute hydrochloric acid tank at the bottom of the cooler, connect a leather tube to the small water pump at the bottom, and the water pump and the cleaned cooler channel form a loop cycle. After the water pump is started, it is cleaned with a dilute hydrochloric acid solution, usually for about 6 hours.
For cleaning in winter, the solution can be heated to 70-80°C to speed up the cleaning speed and improve the cleaning effect. After cleaning with dilute hydrochloric acid solution, drain the liquid and rinse with clean water. In order to prevent acid corrosion, it can be cleaned with 5% soda solution for 10 minutes, and finally rinsed with water.
