Shell and tube condenser with built-in heat recovery function is a multi-functional heat exchange unit designed for simultaneous refrigeration and heating working conditions. Different from standard single-function condensers, this model can capture and recycle the waste heat released during refrigerant condensation, realizing effective heat source reuse while completing the refrigeration cycle. It is widely used in commercial HVAC, industrial refrigeration, constant temperature workshops and integrated heating & cooling systems.

 

Working Principle
Refrigeration Cycle Stage
High-temperature high-pressure refrigerant vapor enters the shell side of the condenser and releases condensation heat. Instead of directly discharging all heat to cooling water or air, the recoverable heat is captured and transferred to the heat recovery medium (hot water, glycol water).
Heat Reuse Stage
The recycled heat is transported to heating terminals for space heating, domestic hot water production or process preheating. After recovering partial heat, the remaining redundant heat is taken away by conventional cooling medium to guarantee normal refrigeration efficiency.
Dual Mode Switching
The equipment supports flexible switching between refrigeration-only mode and heat recovery mode, adapting to seasonal cooling and heating demand shifts.
