Marine Transformer Air Cooled Heat Exchanger Cooler
The role of the air-cooled water-cooled heat exchanger of marine transformer is to take away the heat generated during the operation of the transformer in a timely manner, to maintain the normal working temperature of the windings and the iron core, to avoid overheating leading to insulation aging, equipment damage and even safety accidents.
Ship environment on the transformer heat exchanger requirements are extremely stringent, mainly reflected in:
Space constraints: the ship cabin space is small, heat exchanger needs to be compact, adapt to the limited installation space.
Vibration and shock: ship navigation in the presence of continuous vibration and shock, heat exchanger structural strength needs to be high enough to avoid loosening or damage to components.
Corrosive environment: high humidity at sea, high salt spray of the atmosphere, as well as the cabin may exist in the oil, dust, heat exchanger is required to have good anti-corrosion performance (such as stainless steel, anti-corrosion coating, etc.).
Reliability requirements: limited maintenance conditions in the ship voyage, the heat exchanger needs to operate stably for a long time to reduce the risk of failure and downtime.
