Maintenance And Upkeep Of Bearing Oil Cooling
1, Daily inspection (mandatory daily/shift)
Temperature monitoring: Use an infrared thermometer to measure the temperature of the bearing seat/return oil. The normal temperature is ≤ 65 ℃, with an alarm of 75 ℃ and a shutdown of 95 ℃; Record the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet oil of the oil cooler (normal 3-8 ℃).
Pressure and Flow: Check the oil supply pressure (0.1-0.3MPa) and return oil smoothness; Replace the filter element immediately if the pressure difference of the filter is greater than 0.1MPa.
Appearance and sound: Check for oil and water leaks in pipelines/joints; Listen to the needle and monitor the bearing. If there is any abnormal noise (sharp/impact sound), stop the machine immediately for inspection.
Oil level check: Keep the oil level in the tank at 1/2-2/3 of the scale, add oil if it is too low, and drain oil if it is too high to avoid stirring and heating.
2, Oil management (core of the core)
1. Oil selection (matching according to working conditions)
Viscosity: Choose ISO VG32-100 for low speed (<100000 dn); Select VG15-32 for medium speed (100000-500000 dn); VG68-100 anti-wear oil for heavy-duty/high-temperature use.
Type: Mineral oil for ordinary working conditions; High temperature/long-life synthetic oil (PAO/esters); Food grade oil for food and medicine.

Additives: Contains antioxidant, rust proof, extreme pressure (heavy load) additives, flash point ≥ 200 ℃.
2. Oil quality monitoring and replacement
Testing items: viscosity (± 10% warning), acid value (growth ≤ 0.3mgKOH/g), moisture (≤ 0.05%), particle contamination (ISO 4406 15/12/10), iron content (>50ppm oil change).
Cycle: Every 6 months under normal working conditions; Strict/heavy monthly testing; Normally, oil should be changed every 6-12 months, and in harsh working conditions, oil should be changed every 3-6 months.
Oil change specification: Drain the old oil → Rinse the oil tank and oil circuit with kerosene/special cleaning agent → Dry → Filter the new oil and add it; It is strictly prohibited to mix different brands/models.
3, Cooling system maintenance (oil cooling+water cooling)
1. Oil cooler/cooler
Cleaning: Clean the condenser/heat sink dust every week; Clean the air filter every two weeks; Inspect the interior of the oil cooler monthly and remove any moisture and impurities from the bottom.
Temperature control: Inlet oil temperature 43-48 ℃, return oil ≤ 65 ℃; Turn on the cooling water when the oil temperature is above 48 ℃, and turn off the water when it is below 35 ℃.
2. Water cooling system (if equipped)
Waterway: Clean the inlet filter weekly; Clean with 5% -10% citric acid for 2-3 hours every 3-6 months to remove scale, and then rinse with clean water.
Start stop: In the cold state, first turn on the lubrication for 5-10 minutes to build an oil film, and then turn on the cooling water; Stop the machine and wait for the bearing temperature to be below 40 ℃ before stopping the water supply to prevent thermal stress deformation.
4, Regular deep maintenance (executed on a periodic basis)
Weekly: Tighten the connecting bolts; Check for aging and cracks in the seals (O-rings/labyrinth seals); Clean the dirt around the seal.
Monthly: Disassemble and inspect the bearing end cover, check for pitting and peeling on the raceway/rolling elements; Detect oil quality and replenish oil; Check pipeline corrosion/wall thickness.
Every 2000 hours: Conduct a comprehensive inspection of seals, oil circuits, and cooling channels; Clean the fuel tank and filter.
Every 4000 hours/year: Replace lubricating oil; Chemical cleaning of cooling channels; Endoscopic examination for scaling; Verify temperature/pressure sensors.
