A Remote Radiator is a type of radiator used in gas engines to distribute heat over a distance. It works in a similar way to a conventional engine radiator, but is connected to the gas engine by pipework that transfers a cooling medium (usually water or a water-glycol mixture) from the engine to the remote radiator, which then retransmits the cooled cooling medium back to the engine.
When the installation space of a gas engine is limited, the remote radiator can be mounted further away from the engine to make better use of the available space.
