Exhaust Gas Waste Heat Recovery Heat Exchanger For Gas Engine

Exhaust Gas Waste Heat Recovery Heat Exchanger for Gas Engine

The gas engine waste heat recovery heat exchanger is used to recover the waste heat in the exhaust gas from the gas engine. A gas engine is a device that converts fuel combustion into mechanical energy, and the exhaust gas is the high-temperature flue gas produced during the combustion process. If not recycled, the heat energy in the exhaust gas will be directly discharged into the atmosphere, resulting in energy waste and environmental pollution.

The working principle of gas engine exhaust gas waste heat recovery heat exchanger is as follows:

Exhaust gas into the heat exchanger: the high temperature exhaust gas from the gas engine enters the waste heat recovery device through the exhaust gas pipeline and enters the heat exchanger.

Exhaust gas heat exchange: the high temperature exhaust gas is exchanged with the recovery medium (such as water or heat medium) inside the heat exchanger, and the heat energy in the exhaust gas is transferred to the medium. In the heat transfer process, the temperature of the exhaust gas decreases, while the temperature of the medium increases.

Medium utilisation: The medium in the heat exchanger can be used for heating, generating steam, providing hot water and other purposes after transferring heat energy. The temperature of the exhaust gases is lowered and further discharged into the atmosphere.
