Dry Air Cooler For Natural Gas Process Plant
Using air as a cooling medium, the heat in the natural gas process fluid is taken away by forced or natural convection, so that the natural gas temperature is reduced to achieve the temperature conditions required by the process. In forced convection, a fan is usually used to push the air flow to improve the heat transfer efficiency; natural convection relies on natural factors such as the density difference of air to form the flow of air to realize the heat transfer.
Application Scenarios of Dry Coolers in Natural Gas Processing Plants
Natural Gas Condensate (NGL) Recovery: It is used to cool wet natural gas rich in ethane and propane, lowering the temperature of the natural gas, promoting condensate precipitation, and improving the efficiency of condensate recovery.
Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Pre-cooling: Pre-cooling of natural gas in the LNG pre-treatment stage to lower the temperature of the natural gas, reduce energy consumption in the subsequent liquefaction process, and improve liquefaction efficiency.
Other process cooling: It can also be used for cooling in the process of natural gas compression, cooling of gas in the process of desulfurization and decarbonization, etc., to ensure that the gas temperature in each process link meets the process requirements and ensures stable operation of the proc
ess.
