DC Motor Air Water Cooler
DC Motor Air Water Cooler
The air cooler is typically mounted on top of or to the side of the motor. Its internal structure consists of a ventilated enclosure welded from steel plates, housing key components such as a fan, cooling unit, and filter. The cooler's air inlets and outlets are aligned with those of the motor, forming a closed-loop circulation system. The circulation fan directs hot air generated by the motor to the heat exchanger. Within the heat exchanger, the hot air and cooling water exchange thermal energy. After absorbing the heat, the cooling water carries it away from the machine through its circulation, thereby cooling the hot air. The cooled air is then returned to the motor. This continuous cycle maintains the motor temperature within the specified range.
Structural Features
High-Efficiency Heat Exchange Unit: Utilizes full-sheet finned tube expansion technology. After assembly, fins and cooling tubes undergo mechanical tube expansion for tight contact, minimizing thermal resistance and ensuring excellent heat transfer performance.
Superior Filter Performance: The innovative mesh-basket filter delivers high filtration efficiency with minimal airflow resistance. Its replaceable media ensures stable operation, effectively capturing carbon powder and other airborne contaminants to protect the motor interior from contamination.
Low-Noise Fan: The aerodynamic system employs a low-noise centrifugal fan with a flat performance curve and broad high-efficiency range. It delivers sufficient airflow while effectively reducing operational noise.
Convenient Monitoring and Control: All monitoring and control systems are externally mounted on the housing. This facilitates observation, inspection, operation, and maintenance, enabling operators to promptly understand the cooler's operational status.
This integrated unit combines a circulation fan, air filter, and various monitoring devices, offering convenient installation, high heat exchange efficiency, and wide applicability in motors for rolling mills, high-speed wire production lines, and cement manufacturing equipment.
