Pre-Inspect New Replacement Cooler
Visual full inspection: no tube dents, cracked tube sheet, fin damage, shipping deformation.
Hydrostatic pressure test (factory pre-tested; retest on-site if stored >6 months):
Air side test pressure: 1.5× max working pressure
Water side test pressure: 1.0 MPa hold 30 mins, zero leakage
Flush water side tubes with clean water to wash factory anti-rust oil residue.
Install new zinc anodes on water bonnet before mounting bundle.

Install New Air Cooler Bundle (Step-by-Step)
Apply thin film of clean coolant water to new tube sheet O-rings; seat O-ring fully into groove (no twisting).
Use hoist to align new U-tube bundle parallel to shell; slide evenly into pressure housing, avoid scraping tube walls.
Reinstall water side bonnet; fit new full face gasket between bonnet and tube sheet.
Torque bonnet bolts cross-pattern evenly to IR standard torque value for Centac C100 (65 N·m / 48 ft-lbs).
Reattach air inlet/outlet flanges with brand-new gaskets; align pre-marked lines, torque flanges symmetrically.
Reconnect RTD temperature sensors, re-terminate wiring with proper shielding.
Reinstall condensate drain valve assembly; slope drain line downward for full water removal.
Mount back baffle plates and outer sheet metal panels.
