Guide Bearing Oil Coolers

A vertical shaft turbine is a turbine in which the centerline of the main shaft of the turbine is arranged in a vertical direction with the horizontal plane.

The upper guide is the upper guide bearing of the hydro-generator, the lower guide is the lower guide bearing of the hydro-generator, and the water guide is the guide bearing of the hydro-turbine.

In large and medium-sized hydro-generator units, in order to ensure the normal operation of the unit, coolers are installed in the above three bearings to cool or take away the heat generated by the bearings.
