What is the Basic Principle of Bearing Oil Cooling Coil?

The basic principle of the Bearing oil cooling coil is to reduce the temperature of the bearing lubricant by heat exchange.
When equipment is in operation, the bearings generate friction and heat, causing the lubricant temperature to rise. As the hot lubricant flows through the cooling coil, it exchanges heat with the cooling medium (usually water or air) inside the cooling coil.

If the cooling medium is water, the water absorbs heat from the lubricant and increases its temperature while the lubricant temperature decreases. If air is used as the cooling medium, the hot lubricant transfers heat to the cooler surrounding air, thus cooling the lubricant.

After cooling, the lubricant returns to the bearing and continues to play the role of lubrication and cooling, thus ensuring that the bearing works at a suitable temperature, prolonging the service life of the bearing and improving the stability and reliability of the equipment operation.
