Shell & tube heat exchangers are widely used in turbo air compressor cooling systems to reduce compressed air temperature, improve efficiency, and prevent overheating.
Purpose of a Turbo Air Compressor Cooler
Cools compressed air after each compression stage (intercooler) or final discharge (aftercooler).
Removes moisture (condensate) to protect downstream equipment.
Improves efficiency by reducing air temperature (denser air = less work for next stage).
