Transmission Cooler Radiator For Gearbox

A Transmission Cooler is an important component used to control and reduce the temperature of an automobile's transmission. Automotive transmissions generate a lot of heat during operation, so a radiator is needed to ensure that the transmission operates within the proper temperature range to avoid damage caused by overheating.

Working Principle:
Transmission radiators work similarly to other radiators, transferring the heat generated inside the transmission to an external cooling medium, usually air or coolant, using heat exchange.
Transmission fluid flows through tubes inside the radiator while a cooling medium, such as air or the vehicle's coolant, flows through the radiator.
As the transmission fluid flows through the radiator's ducts, heat is transferred from the oil to the radiator surface and then carried away by the cooling medium.
The cooling medium absorbs heat from the transmission fluid as it flows, which allows the transmission fluid temperature to be reduced and kept within the proper operating range.

Structure:
A transmission radiator usually consists of a Tube Bundle and a Shell.
The Tube Bundle is made up of many small tubes, which are usually made of metal and have good thermal conductivity.
Transmission fluid flows from the vehicle transmission into the Tube Bundle of the radiator.
The cooling medium flows on the outside of the housing and exchanges heat with the transmission fluid in the tube bundle through the tubes.
This design efficiently transfers heat from the transmission fluid to the cooling medium, keeping the transmission within the proper temperature range.

Applications:
Transmission radiators are widely used in the transmission systems of cars, trucks, SUVs and other vehicles.
It is especially important in off-road vehicles, trailers, tractor-trailers and other high-load transportation and working conditions.
