Four Main Types of VRCOOLER Ship Ventilation Heat Exchangers

1. Chilled Water Cooling Coil (AHU Evaporator Coil)

The core cooling component inside marine air handling units, circulated with chilled fresh water from vessel central AC plant.

Structure: Copper tubes + aluminum fin bundle; optional epoxy anti-corrosion coating for salt mist resistance

Working logic: Hot humid outside air flows over cold coil surface, heat exchange removes heat and condenses excess moisture

Matching scene: All ocean-going vessel accommodation ventilation, wheelhouse air conditioning, offshore platform living quarter AHU

Custom feature: Built-in stainless steel condensate drain tray to collect condensed water and prevent water dripping inside air ducts

2. Hot Water / Steam Heating Coil

Used for cold climate air preheating, powered by boiler steam or recovered jacket water waste heat.

Two medium options: low-temperature hot fresh water coil, high-temperature steam coil

Material upgrade: CuNi90/10 tubes for vessels with slightly corrosive cooling medium; 316L stainless steel frame

Advantage: Recycle waste heat from main engine jacket water to replace electric heaters, save auxiliary power consumption
