Introduction To The Basic Classification Of Coolers
Under normal circumstances, coolers are mainly distinguished according to their structure, that is, according to their appearance, which can be divided into
①Removable cooler (also called cooler with gasket), ②welded cooler, ③spiral cooler, ④plate-to-roll cooler (also called honeycomb cooler).
Among them, welding coolers are further divided into: semi-welded coolers, fully welded coolers, plate and shell coolers, and brazing coolers.
Commonly used categories are:
1> According to the amount of heat exchange area in the unit space, the cooler is a compact cooler, which is mainly compared with the shell-and-tube cooler. The traditional shell-and-tube cooler occupies a larger area.
2> According to the process use, there are different names: plate heater, plate cooler, plate condenser, plate preheater;
3> According to the process combination, it is divided into single-pass cooler and multi-pass cooler;
4> According to the flow direction of the two media, it is divided into a co-current (co-current) cooler, a counter-current cooler, and a cross-flow (cross-flow) cooler, the latter two are used more often;
5> According to the gap size of the runner, it is divided into conventional gap coolers and wide gap coolers;
6> According to the corrugation, the cooler has a more detailed distinction, which will not be repeated, please refer to: Corrugated form of cooler plate.
7> According to whether it is a complete set of products, it can be divided into stand-alone coolers and cooler units.
