How To Maintain And Clean The Air Compressor Cooler?
How to maintain and clean the air compressor cooler?
After the air compressor cooler is used for a long time, calcium, magnesium and other bicarbonate substances in the air compressor cooler water will form scale in it, which will increase the air compressor inlet and exhaust temperatures, and the air cannot be cooled to a predetermined level. temperature, so it is very important to maintain the air compressor cooler.

The maintenance of the cooler should be cleaned regularly according to the environmental conditions, so that the compressor can work at a normal temperature and ensure a long service life of the machine. When the cooler is dirty and blocked, the exhaust temperature of the compressor will increase. Generally, the outside of the air-cooled cooler should be cleaned every 1500 hours, and the water side of the water-cooled cooler should be cleaned every 1500 hours. Regular cleaning of the cooler has the following benefits:
1. Make the unit always work under the ideal working temperature (below 95 ℃), which is good for the performance and life of the machine.
2. The dirt can be removed by using cleaning fluid. Otherwise, when the dirt is thick, the cleaning work is quite troublesome.
Cleaning steps on the cooling medium side of the cooler
Air-cooled cooler
1. Stop the machine and confirm that the pressure has been released, and pull down the main power switch.
2. Open the air guide cover to clean the cover, or remove the cooling fan.
3. Blow back the dirt with compressed air, and then take the dirt out of the air guide hood; if it is dirty, spray some degreaser before blowing. When it cannot be cleaned by the above methods, the cooler needs to be removed, soaked or sprayed with cleaning liquid and cleaned with a brush (wire brush is strictly prohibited).
4. Install the cover or cooling fan.
Water-cooled cooler
1. Stop the machine and confirm that the pressure has been released, and pull down the main power switch.
2. Disassemble the cooling water inlet and outlet pipes.
3. Inject the cleaning solution to soak or use the pump to circulate and flush (the recoil effect is better).
4. Rinse with clean water.
5. Install the cooling water inlet and outlet pipes.
When the scale of the oil cooler is serious and the above methods are not ideal for cleaning, you can remove the oil cooler separately, open the end caps at both ends, and use a special cleaning steel brush or other tools to remove the scale. When cleaning the medium side of the cooler cannot effectively reduce the temperature, it is necessary to clean the oil side as follows:
1. Stop the machine and confirm that the pressure has been released, and pull down the main power switch.
2. Disassemble the oil inlet and outlet pipes.
3. Inject the cleaning solution to soak or use the pump to circulate and flush (the recoil effect is better).
4. Rinse with clean water.
5. Dry with dry air or remove water with dehydrated oil.
6. Install the oil inlet and outlet pipes
