When the generator set is in operation, the engine generates a large amount of heat. The high-temperature coolant is driven by the water pump to flow out of the engine, entering the upper water chamber of the radiator, and then flowing into the radiator tubes. Heat is transferred through the walls of the radiator tubes to the radiator fins. At this point, the fan motor drives the fan to rotate, causing air to flow rapidly over the radiator fins. Through forced convection, the heat from the radiator fins is dissipated, lowering the temperature of the coolant. The cooled coolant then flows back into the lower water chamber and is pumped back to the engine by the water pump, repeating this cycle to achieve cooling of the generator set.
