In an air-cooled system, the ducts and panels inside the cooler exchange heat with the ambient air through natural convection or with the aid of a fan. In water cooling systems, on the other hand, the cooler absorbs heat through the water coolant and then transfers the heat to the cooling water, which is dissipated through the cooling water circulation system.
