Exhaust Gas Heat Recovery Power Generation System
The exhaust gas heat recovery power generation system is a complete cogeneration equipment set that captures high-temperature waste exhaust gas from gensets, boilers, kilns, steel furnaces and chemical reactors. It converts recovered thermal energy into stable electric power via heat exchange, steam circulation and turbine generators. This system drastically cuts primary fuel consumption, lowers grid electricity purchase costs and realizes zero-carbon waste energy utilization for heavy industrial plants.
Complete System Composition
1. High-efficiency exhaust gas heat exchanger / waste heat boiler
High-frequency welded finned tube heat exchanger or shell-and-tube waste heat boiler, absorbs heat from high-temperature flue gas (200–650°C) to produce saturated or superheated steam. 316L stainless steel optional for corrosive acid flue gas.
2. Steam circulation auxiliary equipment
Feed water tank, circulating pump, deaerator, pressure regulating valve, ash cleaning device and automatic control cabinet.
3. Steam turbine generator unit
Small/medium back-pressure or condensing turbine matched with synchronous generator, converts steam thermal energy into usable alternating current.
4. Waste heat utilization terminal (optional CHP mode)
Surplus steam after power generation can be reused for factory heating, process hot water or drying lines to achieve combined heat and power.

Working Principle
1. High-temperature exhaust waste gas flows through the waste heat boiler, transferring heat to circulating water to generate high-pressure steam.
2. High-temperature high-pressure steam pushes the steam turbine to rotate and drive the generator to output electric power for factory production equipment, lighting and auxiliary systems.
3. Low-pressure steam exhausted from the turbine is recycled for industrial heating if heat demand exists (CHP cogeneration mode).
4. Cooled clean flue gas is discharged after desulfurization and dust removal, fully meeting environmental emission standards.
We provide one-stop overall solution including thermal calculation, system layout design, equipment manufacturing, installation guidance and commissioning training.
Customizable power output range: 50kW – 10MW, matched to different exhaust gas flow, temperature and waste heat capacity.
All core heat exchange equipment passes hydrostatic pressure and air tightness testing, certified ISO 9001, CE, PED for global project export. We supply full set export documents and long-term overseas after-sales technical support.
The exhaust gas heat recovery power generation system turns abandoned flue gas heat into valuable electric energy. It helps industrial users reduce energy expenditure, optimize energy structure and achieve carbon neutrality targets with reliable, long-term stable operation.
