Dry Coolers For Turbines And Compressors

Dry Coolers for Turbines and Compressors

Principle of operation
Heat Fluid Circulation: Thermal fluid (e.g., hot water or thermal oil) from a turbine or compressor is circulated through a closed coil system.
Airflow Generation: A large fan extracts air from the surrounding environment and moves it across the surface of the heat exchanger coils, accelerating the air flow and improving cooling efficiency.
Heat Transfer: The heat from the circulating fluid is transferred to the air through the metal coils to realize heat dissipation.
Return of Cooled Fluid: The cooled fluid is returned to the turbine or compressor system to complete the cooling cycle.

Advantages
Water Saving: No water is required as a cooling medium, making it ideal for water-scarce areas or places with strict water consumption limits, avoiding the waste of water and water treatment costs associated with heavy water use.
Low Maintenance Costs: The absence of water reduces problems such as scale, biofilm formation and corrosion, which reduces the frequency and cost of equipment maintenance and downtime.
Environmentally friendly: no water evaporation, drift or chemical discharge, less impact on the environment, in line with environmental requirements.
High efficiency and energy saving: Adopting optimized design of fan and variable speed drive, it can adjust the operation power according to the actual load and reduce energy consumption.
Adaptable to a variety of climatic conditions: able to operate stably under a variety of harsh climatic conditions such as high temperature, low temperature, dryness, etc., ensuring the normal operation of the turbine and compressor.
Flexible installation: small footprint, easy installation, flexible configuration according to site space and layout, and easy integration with existing turbine and compressor systems.

Application Scenarios
Power industry: used in thermal power plants, nuclear power plants, wind power plants and other turbine cooling, to ensure the efficient and stable operation of the generating unit, improve power generation efficiency, and reduce the failure and downtime caused by overheating.
Petrochemical industry: cooling various compressors, pumps and other equipment, maintaining the normal operating temperature of the equipment, ensuring the continuity and safety of the production process, and at the same time meet the strict requirements of chemical production on the environment and safety.
Industrial manufacturing field: such as iron and steel mills, cement plants, paper mills, etc., used to cool large compressors, blowers and other equipment, which helps to improve the service life of the equipment and production efficiency, reduce production costs.
Natural gas processing industry: In the process of natural gas compression, transportation and processing, the compressor is cooled to prevent the equipment from overheating and to ensure the processing effect and transportation safety of natural gas.
