Custom Tubular Heat Exchanger Used For Cooling A Industrial Gearbox
Custom tubular (shell‑and‑tube) heat exchangers engineered for industrial gearbox cooling duty. It removes excess heat generated during gear meshing and bearing operation, stabilizes lubricating oil temperature, protects gear sets and bearings from overheating failure. Fully custom built per customer's operating parameters, footprint constraints and connection requirements for heavy‑duty industrial gear units.
Working Principle
Hot gearbox lubrication oil flows through shell side or tube side; cooling medium (cooling water / seawater) passes across the other side. Continuous heat transfer carries away frictional heat from lubricant. Cooled oil circulates back to the gearbox, maintaining optimal oil working temperature and extending service life of gears, seals and bearings.
