Complete Replacement Tube Bundle Assemblies for API Basco Type ES Intercooler & Aftercooler

We supply fully interchangeable complete replacement tube bundle assemblies engineered for API Basco Type ES extended surface shell-and-tube intercoolers and aftercoolers.
Basco Type ES coolers are widely fitted on reciprocating, centrifugal and axial air compressors, serving as intercoolers (between compression stages) and aftercoolers (final compressed air cooling). When the original tube bundle suffers corrosion, tube leakage, heavy fouling or efficiency degradation, our matched tube bundle can be pulled out and directly installed into the existing original shell, eliminating costly full cooler replacement.

Working Principle of Basco Type ES Unit
Hot compressed air flows on the shell side across plate fin heat transfer surfaces; cooling water circulates inside the tubes.
Intercooler: Remove compression heat between compressor stages, reduce air temperature before next compression, lower power consumption and improve compressor efficiency.
Aftercooler: Cool high-temperature compressed air post final compression, condense water vapor for moisture separation, protecting downstream air piping, dryers and pneumatic equipment.
