Air Cooler For Generator Power Plant Applications
Air Cooler for Generator Power Plant Applications
The generator air cooler used in power plants is mainly designed to reduce the heat generated during generator operation to ensure that the generator works within a suitable temperature range, thus improving power generation efficiency and equipment life.
Generator in operation will be due to the current through the windings and other components generate a lot of heat, if not in a timely and effective heat dissipation, may lead to accelerated aging of the generator winding insulation, resistance increases, which in turn affects the power generation efficiency, and even cause equipment failure and damage, resulting in power outages and other serious consequences, so the air cooler is essential to ensure the normal operation of the generator.
Heat exchange process: the hot air generated by the generator operation into the air cooler, the cooler in the cooling medium (usually water or air) and the hot air for heat exchange. The hot air transfers heat to the cooling medium, and then returns to the generator after its own temperature is lowered, forming a circulating cooling system to maintain the temperature stability of the generator.
