The Air Compressor Waste Heat Recuperator is a professional high-efficiency heat exchange device specially designed for industrial screw, piston and centrifugal air compressor systems. It fully recovers massive waste heat generated by high-temperature compressor lubricating oil and hot compressed air during operation.
Different from ordinary cooling radiators that simply dissipate heat into the air, our waste heat recuperator captures and reuses industrial waste heat to produce hot water or preheat fresh air. It realizes dual functions of compressor cooling protection + energy recovery, effectively reducing factory heating energy consumption and improving overall energy utilization rate.
The core adopts high-frequency welded finned tube bundles, with carbon steel, 304 and 316L stainless steel material options. It features oil resistance, high temperature resistance and anti-fouling performance, fully adapting to 24-hour continuous operation of industrial compressor stations.
Working Principle
During air compression, more than 85% of electric energy is converted into waste heat. High-temperature lubricating oil and hot compressed air (90–180°C) flow inside the finned tubes, while cooling water or fresh air flows through the tube bundle outer layer for forced heat exchange.
- Cooling cycle: The cooled lubricating oil and compressed air return to the compressor system to keep stable operating temperature, avoiding overheating trips and extending compressor service life.
- Heat recovery cycle: The absorbed waste heat heats cold water to 50–85°C or preheats fresh air, providing free heat for factory production, cleaning, domestic hot water and workshop heating.
- Automatic backup cooling: When hot water demand is low, the auxiliary cooling loop automatically starts to ensure the compressor runs safely without heat accumulation.
